SCIATIC NERVE PINCHED??????HELp!!!!?

Question by kool k: SCIATIC NERVE PINCHED??????HELp!!!!?
l am 19 and i am overweight if that has anything to do with this…..i have had this sharp pain in my lower back/hip on the right side and pain going down into my right leg most of the time no further than my knee….sometimes a dull pain below the knee….most movements hurt…especially leaning forward to put on shoes or socks. and sometimes it feels like my leg is going to give out on me… ive been suffering with this for 3 months and im getting sick of it. i went to the doctor and he told me “he doesnt think its sciatica” and then said” i think its lower terminal back pain”……..is he right..or should i get a second opionon…..somedays its worse than others…but today its horrible…sometimes i can barley walk…and i am pre-diabetic so its important that i exersise. and i have been having a hard time with that. ive tried taking ibprophen to take down any swelling..but it doesnt really help much. any motion hurts like hell…so i dont know about stretches.
please ANY IDEAS?

i have this problem sometimes also for some mysterious reason just take it easy till you can go to a doctor who knows what he is talking about prop your legs up and put a ice pack on it for 15 Min’s at a time and don’t move alot that strains it and you could be doing more damage to your back just by moving it call a doctor asap and see whats going on sometimes a soft surface is harder on your back then a hard one so if you lye on your bad of something and its not helping lye on the floor and put your legs up o your couch on a kitchen chair

hope this helps
